    About Me

I am a licensed therapist interested in helping individuals and couples who are struggling with life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders.

Your mental health does not have to define you. I can help you develop a deeper understanding of how your thoughts and emotions show up and impact your life. Together, we will develop strategies that will empower you to move toward your highest potential.

  • My Approach

Values and skills therapists bring into sessions are important considerations when looking for a suitable therapist. Here are some of the things you can expect from me within our sessions:

    Non-judgment

I am here to listen and observe your experience, and help you to make sense of things that have happened or decisions you have made.

    Compassion & Empathy

I will always offer warmth and understanding. You are not alone in your struggle, and you are brave for confronting it.

    Strengths-based

Every person has inherent worth. I will highlight the strengths I see in you, and help you to embrace your inner power.

    Client-centered

You are the expert of your life. I will collaborate with you to make changes or process situations in a way that aligns with your values and goals.

    Trauma-informed

I am aware of the extensive impact that trauma can have on individuals, and I take exceptional care in creating a space that is safe and supportive.

    Humor

When appropriate, laughter can be a powerful tool for healing and deepening connection. Laughter can soften hard edges and allow us to see things from a different perspective.

    LGBTQ+ Affirming & Anti-Racist

I value social justice and am deeply passionate about creating a space rooted in equity. I maintain a strong awareness of power & privilege differentials.

    Mindfulness

With a background in yoga and training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, I believe that a strong mindfulness practice can aid in furthering self-awareness and encouraging transformation.
